PLEASE JOIN US AT OUR 8TH ANNUAL LEGACY EVENT ON TUESDAY, MAY 2, AT THE JEPSOM ALUMNI CENTER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND
Each year, Children’s Home Society of Virginia hosts an event to raise community awareness of adoption-related issues as well as raise funds to support our impactful work. This year CHS is excited to welcome as our Keynote Speaker the Honorable Anne B. Holton, former First Lady of Virginia and an ardent supporter of CHS’s mission.
Anne is currently on the Virginia Board of Education. She is also the former Secretary of Education, and a former juvenile and domestic relations (J&DR) judge in Virginia. (more about Anne Holton)
The Legacy Event is designed to celebrate CHS’s accomplishments this past year and to support our mission of finding a permanent home for every child into the future. This year’s event will be in the evening, and will feature the opportunity to learn a little more about all the services CHS offers, from infant adoption, foster care adoption and post-adoption services to The Possibilities Project for youth who have aged out of the foster care system. Please mark you calendars now for this exciting event.
We invite you to join us and learn more about the plight of Virginia’s at-risk children and the positive impact of adoption and permanency on children, families, young adults and our entire community. Attendees will be asked to make a financial contribution to CHS, although there is no obligation to do so.
