Janeva ~
Janeva is a bright 17-year-old. She loves to read fiction and forensic nonfiction novels and has goals of joining the National Guard and attending school for forensics (anthropology). Janeva loves animals of all kinds. She enjoys spending time with friends, social networking and loves to praise dance. She enjoys attending the local Baptist church.
Janeva is currently working to improve her communication skills. She would like to get a job so that she can earn her own spending money while she is finishing up school.
Janeva needs the guidance of a loving, supportive and permanent family. She would benefit from a family that can teach her all of the necessary life skills that will enable her to be successful in the future and that will be there for her in ways of emotional and moral support.

Scott is a 9-year-old boy who loves staying active and enjoys all sports, especially baseball right now. He is quiet and shy at first, but once you get to know him, Scott will have you laughing at his jokes and silliness.
Scott likes going to school to see his teachers and peers and enjoys learning. Scott takes pride in helping others and responds well to positive reinforcement. He does have limitations and needs guidance and support.

Novice ~
Novice is a vivacious 14-year-old. She loves to crochet, listen to music and to talk on the phone. She enjoys school and looks forward to going every day.
Novice is currently working to improve her communication skills and is learning not to place demands on people. She is currently in the 8th grade and is looking forward to starting high school. She is outgoing, friendly and full of energy.

Audwin is a 9-year-old African American boy. He enjoys playing board games, video games and riding his bike around the neighborhood. If he could, he would eat pizza and fried chicken every day! He dreams of being a firefighter and saving people’s lives.
Audwin is close to being on grade level but his behavior distracts him from learning. At school he is working on making friends and following directions. Audwin loves one-on-one attention and would benefit from a family that has the time to spend with him. A family that can do this and provide firm structure will be a great match for Audwin!

Kaylana ~
Kaylana is a 13-year-old biracial youngster who has a great sense of humor.
She is a typical girl who loves fashion and music. Kaylana says she is a talented singer and dancer and dreams of one day attending a live concert.
School is an area where Kaylana has both good and bad days. Her grades are affected by her behavior. If she is having a good day, her grades will be excellent because she was paying attention and knows the material. If she was unfocused and defiant she will have missed the subject lesson and consequently have lower grades. Kaylana excels at math and finds it a “piece of cake”

Rahdajah ~
Rahdajah is an 8-year-old African American child. She likes to play dolls, board games and watch cartoons. She is a bright young girl who is friendly and loves school.
Rahdajah is in the second grade and an honor roll student this year. She makes friends easily but has to be reminded that she can’t talk while the teacher is talking. At home Rahdajah practices proper food manners, asking permission and following directions.
Rahdajah would benefit from a family that can provide her with a safe and structured home. She thrives with positive reinforcement and enjoys being in a family. Molly ~
Molly is a 5-year-old who loves to laugh, play peek-a-boo and watch SpongeBob. She is a young girl who attends school and enjoys being around other children.
Molly is a sweet child but very challenging. Her challenges require a lot of support. Molly will need a two-parent home to help meet her daily needs. She requires someone to feed, dress, move and bathe her. She is unable to speak so her parents must learn her body language.
Molly needs a family that can devote the time to take her to her numerous appointments. Molly has the needs of an infant, and it is unclear whether she will improve. Her parents will need to be fully committed to her.

Heather ~
Heather is a 13-year-old girl who loves to have girl’s night. A perfect girl’s night includes shopping, getting her nails done and watching a movie. Heather loves to dance and is currently taking dance classes.Heather is in the 7 th grade and is doing well in all subjects. Despite numerous school changes, she has managed to stay on her appropriate grade level. Currently she is being tutored twice a week and requires daily reminders on how to stay organized and focused.
Heather is a young girl who needs a family to support her and love her. A permanent family would provide Heather the stability and guidance she needs to make it through the tough teenage years.

Joshua ~
Josh is a sweet, funny, laid-back 15-year-old. He loves singing, playing the guitar and making people laugh! Josh has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair and a walker to get around.
Josh has a great sense of humor, a wonderful personality, is determined and such a hard worker. He enjoys science and is working to get better at math. He is in the 8th grade right now, doing 9th grade work and continues to strive to do his best.
Josh has made tremendous progress since coming into foster care! He is very excited about being adopted. Josh needs the guidance of a loving, supportive and permanent family. Charles ~
Charles is 14 years old with red hair, blue eyes and a great sense of humor. He loves animals, sports, pizza, and going to camp! One of Charles’s best qualities is his caring and thoughtful nature.
Charles will benefit from a family who will nurture him but also provide him with consistent rules. A home where Charles will be encouraged and challenged to try new things is a place where he will be able to call home.

Sheara ~
Sheara is 14 years old and in the eighth grade. She enjoys talking to her friends on the phone, going to school, camp and shopping. Sheara loves movies, music and is an animal lover!
In school Sheara has proven that she excels in a small class size with one-on-one assistance. The most frustrating subject for Sheara is math. Everyday she sets her mind to practicing math problems, counting money, and telling time.
Sheara would benefit from a loving family who is patient and committed. She will thrive in a home with positive reinforcement and reassurance.

Jennifer ~
Jennifer is a great 13-year-old who loves to read the Babysitters Club and American Girl series. She loves anything pink and will always add accessories to her blue school uniform. Jenny is an athlete who plays forward on the soccer team and wants to learn how to ice-skate and ride a horse.
Jennifer is currently in the 7th grade. She works hard to improve her math and writing skills. When she is in school Jenny is often told to stop talking in class, ignore distractions and get back to work. She has been the most successful in a class with fewer students and more one-to-one help.
Jenny expresses a strong desire to be adopted and become part of a happy and healthy home. Like so many youngsters in foster care, she has had a tough past. The benefits of finding a permanent, adoptive family would make all the difference!

Jermira is a 15-year-old who loves to sing and dance. She likes to make up routines, perform in front of an audience and sing her favorite songs from the radio. Jermira has proved to be a leader with her peers. She has used her leadership skills to help her friends resolve their problems in a healthy way.
Like many kids in foster care she needs a permanent home and a family that will not give up on her. A family that will guide her, teach her and support her through the good times and the tough ones would be a great match for Jermira.

Angel ~
Angel is a 12-year-old African American child. She is a happy girl who is always smiling and trying to make you laugh! She enjoys playing games, riding her bike, singing on her karaoke machine and watching movies.
Angel likes going to school to see her friends and learn. She has some limits intellectually but she is always working hard in her special education class to learn all that she can.

Rebecca is a 13-year-old youngster. She is a talented, energetic teen who loves to draw, dance and sing.
Rebecca’s teachers say she is a joy to have in the classroom. She is helpful, gets her work done and always tries to do her best. Currently, she is earning all passing grades except in P.E. She states that she gets teased the most in this class and does not like to participate because of this. Rebecca is being proactive about this issue and working with her therapist to better her social skills.
Rebecca wants a family. She has a hard time when she has to change homes, friends, and schools. Rebecca would greatly benefit from the support of one family for the rest of her life. A family that can provide this would help Rebecca succeed and reach her potential in life.

Anthony is a 15-year-old African American teen. He is well rounded with many different interests. He loves to build model cars and is interested in pursuing auto mechanics as a career. Anthony experienced his first job this summer helping to care for dogs at an animal shop. In addition to these activities Anthony discovered a talent for cooking and enjoys being creative in the kitchen.
Anthony is in the 8th grade this year and doing very well. He has good grades, and gets his homework done every night! Anthony is working hard to stay focused in class and ignore distractions around the room.
