Donating your birthday to CHSVA is EASY! With this kind of fundraiser, you are asking your friends and loved ones to make a donation to CHSVA instead of buying you a present. In order to donate your birthday: simply click on the fundraising tab on your News Feed. From there, you can select what charity you want to give to and set your fundraising goal as well as your fundraiser’s end date. Facebook will walk you through it.
Next you want to promote it. Create a few posts for about a week before your birthday, then on your birthday make a big deal about it!
You can also send out individual messaging to your Facebook friends- like you would event invitations. For friends and family not on Facebook, you can send them email announcements. They can link to our website donation page, or we can even create a special landing page just for your fundraiser!
