OUR 8TH ANNUAL LEGACY EVENT WAS HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 2, AT THE JEPSON ALUMNI CENTER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND
Each year, Children’s Home Society of Virginia hosts an event to raise community awareness of adoption-related issues, as well as raise funds to support our impactful work. This year’s event featured the opportunity to learn a little more about all the services CHS offers, from infant adoption, foster care adoption and post-adoption services to The Possibilities Project for youth who have aged out of the foster care system.
If you missed this exciting event, please view our event video, Anne Holtons speech, or the Event Presentations (intro or close) by clicking below!
The Legacy Event is designed to celebrate CHS’s accomplishments this past year and to support our mission of finding a permanent home for every child into the future. This year CHS was excited to welcome as our Keynote Speaker the Honorable Anne B. Holton, former First Lady of Virginia and an ardent supporter of CHS’s mission.
Anne is currently on the Virginia Board of Education. She is also the former Secretary of Education, and a former juvenile and domestic relations (J&DR) judge in Virginia.
We hope you to joined us to learn more about the plight of Virginia’s at-risk children and the positive impact of adoption and permanency on children, families, young adults and our entire community. If you attended and made a donation, we thank you! If not, please make a financial contribution to CHS, right here from this page, and help us ensure that every child and young adult in Virginia will find the permanence and support they deserve.
THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS EVENT SPONSORS
