Your recurring donation to CHSVA does not have to be just annual! Monthly gifts are a great way to support CHSVA, providing a steady stream of revenue while making our supporters feel even more connected to our cause. A few dollars a day can make a huge difference in the lives of Virginia’s children and youth.
Gift of Stock:
With advances in the stock market of late, now is the perfect time to share some of your shares with the cause you love most. Read our recent blog post Act Now To Make Your Investments Pay Off For Virginia’s Youth for more info.
Donating your Birthday:
Another way to support CHSVA is by donating your birthday! We encourage our supporters start a Facebook fundraiser for their birthday and to ask their friends and families to make a donation rather than buying a birthday present. Starting a Facebook fundraiser is very simple! We’ve listed the directions below. We hope you, and the wonderful children, youth, and families you support all have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY this year!
- On your computer, login to Facebook.
- On the left, click
Fundraisers.
- Tip: If you don’t see Fundraisers on the left, then click See more.
- On the left, click Raise money.
- Click Nonprofit.
- You can either:
- Scroll to find the nonprofit you want to raise money for
- Type into the search bar to find the nonprofit you want to raise money for
- Select the nonprofit.
- On the left, enter:
- The goal amount of money you want to raise
- The currency you want the funds to be in
- Click Create.
